Description
Once the winds calmed down, the damage was overwhelming. So many boats destroyed, sections of the 100+ year old boardwalk blown out, and yet a surprising amount of it remained solid.
It's all been put back together now, minus the dock for boats, and the renovations along the beach are looking good as well.

I grew up in White Rock. Never saw this happen to the pier.... Great capture, and such a terrible storm this must have been. L/F

So true Naomi! The winds were off the charts, boats were almost all destroyed... The only difference now is new boards on the walk and no boats anchor there now, but it was a real mess 🤔
