This is Sharon Bruneau, wearing the paint bringing awareness to Canadas' tragic history with our missing and indigenous women.
Sharon herself is Metis' with a lengthy history that she needs to tell herself to truly understand. I'm sure there will be an interview.
If you are familiar with the fitness and bodybuilding industry, especially throughout the '90's, you will remember Sharon as the international fitness icon she is.
We created this session together to bring focus to Canadas' issues and neglects in addressing the way First Nations people have been treated, and any print sales from this image or any others from this series will be passed on.
You are welcome to follow her current work on her social media platforms as well, starting with @sharonbruneau on Instagram.
Thanks for stopping by! Although you will see a strong representation of my physique and landscape work here, feel free to chat with me if you have a concept you would like to have me take on. My main focus lies in Human Potential, which translates to capturing dance, fitness, aerial dance, silks, trapeze, bodybuilding...and then there are times when I simply need a break from humans, so I disappear into the woods and do nature images. As with all artists, I love hearing from you on images that take your fancy, so please take the time to drop a comment or two where you can. If you enjoy my work, please take a second to tap those buttons for sharing on social media that you will see above your favourite photos :) Have a fantastic day,...
