Description
Once the winds calmed down, the damage was overwhelming. So many boats destroyed, sections of the 100+ year old boardwalk blown out, and yet a surprising amount of it remained solid.
It's all been put back together now, minus the dock for boats, and the renovations along the beach are looking good as well.

It's heartbreaking to hear what happened, but the image shows strength and beauty at the end of it all. :-) Maggie

Thank you so much Maggie! The storm really was insane! Thankfully it's all been rebuilt now, although the boats won't be stored there anymore. The boardwalk is still a great feature, but it does feel diminished without the sailboats out there.
