Just to the left of the 'Goonies Rock' these needles are stunning.
This image has more of a pastel feeling to it, a dreamlike quality...the ocean was cold and somehow still inviting that day. Next time I'm there, which will hopefully be very soon, I will be leaving the gear on the sand and laying down in the water to soak up that feeling throughout my whole being.
Coming home was premature and I'm feeling like I didn't absorb nearly enough of it.
By the way, if you are on Cannon Beach, you have GOT to stay at the Stephanie Resort! That place is stunning!

Hi Monte! Read your description and I totally get the laying down effect that you can get. I sometimes get that when laying down to take pictures of tiny mushrooms or dandelions. You just want to float away in the experience. Here, this image is so beautifully composed, with those two rocks to the left and the waves balancing the whole thing out. Great Work! :-) Maggie
