When we watch dancers, contortionists, and aerial artists, we see how barriers are generally false lines drawn in our psyche by previous influences. That could be parents or teachers or whomever might have had too much to say in our lives.
Seeing Erin here, for example, hanging in a position that is well beyond just the splits, I see just how possible it is to go past that line, given enough determination to get there.
This image could just as easily have those inspirational quotes printed underneath, like
